Presumed to be a continuation of the same hand as 'On the Nature of Sálmun' (KA-001), though the two fragments were recovered separately and cataloged apart.
Many believe the Skald is merely a storyteller. Others claim he is an immortal wanderer. Some insist he is one of the Ancients.
Few have considered another possibility.
Perhaps the Skald is neither man nor god. Perhaps he is the oldest story ever told.
When the first humans gathered around firelight and shared what they had seen, they unknowingly gave birth to something new. Not a creature. Not an Ancient. But the memory of storytelling itself.
The Skald does not create stories. He preserves them.
For stories shape people, and people, in time, shape Sálmun.
